Motihari Brigade’s theme song “Rock-N-Roll Thoughtcrime” encourages listeners to “Answer the question, question the answer, let your light shine” – with the hope that even in these strange days an unlikely band of critical thinkers may yet chart an independent course and escape zombie dystopia.  Having the idea is half the battle.

Available on popular download and streaming sites, and for physical purchase on compact disc. Listen now on Bandcamp.

Motihari Brigade’s new album Algorithm & Blues (release date 9/8/22) promises a highly-caffeinated rock band thumping on all ventricles to creatively energize twelve original new songs and one cover. The music is Rock-n-Roll Thoughtcrime, a desperately needed soundtrack to more happily navigate the dystopian reality show we are now busily sharing on our smart appendages.

PRESS RELEASE

Contact: Eric Winston, winston@mbrigade.com

Website: https://mbrigade.com

Album Release Date:  September 8, 2022

Algorithm & Blues

Motihari Brigade’s second album release Algorithm & Blues (2022) features defibrillating electric guitar, tachycardia rhythms on bass, and drums played by an octopus on stimulants.  Layered keyboard, horn, and vocal arrangements combine to produce the magic of a highly-caffeinated rock band thumping on all ventricles. Twelve original songs and one cover provide an energetic soundtrack for listeners to more happily navigate the dystopian reality show that we are all now busily sharing.

Algorithm & Blues raucously competes for any remaining crumbs of attention span still left available despite the onslaught of big-tech media that currently dominates the psychological crisis of human consciousness. Listen to Motihari Brigade and howl with rebellious defiance while zombies gaze at hypnotic images flickering on their smart appendages.

Motihari Brigade’s music is Rock-N-Roll Thoughtcrime inspired by Orwell, – intended as an independent alternative to the official programming that overwhelms our tele-screens.

The album’s cover art features red wine spilling from a shattered glass of elegant stemware, symbolizing the decadent party that is winding down while a new generation seeks its place in a diminished world.

Motihari Brigade’s previous release Power From Below (2020) had reviewers buzzing:

“…there’s scarcely a moment in Motihari Brigade’s first studio album . . . . where we aren’t feeling the crushing intensity of a band playing at full power…”  Garth Thomas, Hollywood Digest

“…awfully close to a one of a kind product . . . . This is a group that is very much onto something smart and original in the most important of ways…” Mindy McCall, Indie Pulse Music

“Motihari Brigade doesn’t waste any time getting right down to the business of rocking with a cool, confident demeanor . . . . it absolutely lives up to the buzz surrounding its release and then some.” Nicole Killian, MobYorkCity

“… thinking person’s music, and should be required listening.″ Tom Haugen, Take Effect

U.K. born singer, songwriter, and guitarist Eric Winston is the philosopher-serf behind Motihari Brigade’s unique sound and concept.

Escape zombie dystopia. Take the colored pill of your choice. Blink your eyes and smile. The theme album for the great disintegration has arrived – just in time for something new to rise from the ashes. Or perhaps not.  We’ll see.

Algorithm & Blues is scheduled for release on September 8, 2022 and will be available through popular digital download/streaming services, and on compact disk (UPC 195269176655) Creative Destruction Records.
